For families who want their children to grow up rooted, resilient, and deeply connected to the living world
The Shift Your Family Is Longing For
A calmer home.
Deeper connection.
A childhood shaped by the living world.
For movement and mud.
For water and wind.
For beetles and bark and birdsong.
This is the rhythm children are born for.
And this is the rhythm The Wild Shift helps families return to.
The Wild Shift is a transformation -
from overwhelmed days to steadier ones,
from constant correction to deep connection,
from second-guessing yourself to trusting your role as a parent.
A return to the role you were always meant to hold:
your child’s steady companion in the living world.
What Life Looks Like After The Wild Shift
Parents who walk this path begin to notice something powerful.
Mornings feel calmer.
Meltdowns soften.
Children settle more easily into themselves.
Nature becomes part of daily life - not something you have to “make time for.”
And the constant question of am I doing this right? begins to fade.
Instead of managing behaviour, you start guiding a nervous system.
Instead of surviving the days, you start living them together.
This is the life The Wild Shift is designed to build.
What Makes The Wild Shift Different
The Wild Shift brings together modern neuroscience and timeless nature wisdom.
Not as rules or restrictions - but as a way of living that restores balance to family life.
It helps parents understand what’s happening beneath the surface of their child’s behaviour, and how to gently guide their family back into regulation, connection, and ease
using nature as their greatest ally.
This isn’t about doing more.
It’s about returning to what already works.
Inside The Wild Shift: The ROOTS Framework™
Over five weeks, I guide you through The ROOTS Framework™ - a practical pathway that works with real family life.
Each step helps you:
• restore calm
• rekindle wonder
• build sustainable rhythms
• deepen emotional connection
• and guide your family back into relationship with nature
The Wild Shift is not a detox, a rulebook, or a quick fix.
It’s a mentorship that helps you understand what’s happening beneath - and gives you the tools to shift it gently.
Beyond the five-week journey, you step into a year-long parent community where these changes are held, supported, and woven into daily life.
This is not a program you “complete.”
It is a way of living that grows with your family.
Why This Work Matters
When children grow in relationship with the living world, something profound happens.
They become steadier.
They listen to themselves.
Their emotions regulate more easily.
Their confidence grows without comparison.
And they carry belonging inside their bones.
And the parent walking this path with them?
Stops second-guessing.
Starts trusting.
Becomes the calm centre of the family.
This is the deeper work of The Wild Shift.
Who This Is For
This is for you if:
• You long for slower days and deeper connection
• You want your children to feel at home in nature and in themselves
• You’re tired of feeling like parenting is something you’re getting wrong
• You sense that childhood is meant to be richer and wilder
This is not about raising “perfect” children.
It’s about raising whole ones - children who trust themselves, meet the world with curiosity, and move through life with quiet confidence.
Our Story
The Wild Shift was born from a simple, persistent question I was being asked again and again:
“How are your children so confident in nature?”
And it has been shaped by a growing unease about the role screens were beginning to play in childhood.
How easily they slip into family life.
How quietly they start shaping attention, connection, and nervous systems.
I’m not anti-screen.
I don’t believe in bans or guilt.
I believe in creating a family rhythm where the real world becomes so rich and steady that all forms of technology naturally take their rightful place.
So I began asking a different question:
What if the real solution isn’t fighting screens - but remembering how meaningful the natural world already is?
That question became the foundation of The Wild Shift.
I’m truly inspired by this course and proud to support it. In a world where screens can often take centre stage, helping families reconnect with nature feels more important than ever. Every child deserves the chance to experience the wonder, curiosity, and calm that time outdoors can bring. Wild Shift empowers parents to make those moments happen - to nurture not just a love of wildlife, but a deeper connection to the world around us.
I used to think it was easier to let her use her tablet whenever she asked but she would be hunched over it for hours and then have a fit if I tried to take it away. Then we started The Wild Shift and now she jumps at the chance to go outside as soon as I suggest that we become nature explorers! Not only has her screen time dropped significantly, so has mine!
Questions You Might Be Holding
Will this actually fit into our real life?
Yes - and that’s exactly what it was built for.
The practices inside The Wild Shift are intentionally small and repeatable.
Often just 2–10 minutes a day, gently woven into the life you already have.
No overwhelm.
No perfection.
Just steady shifts that change everything.
What if this disconnection from nature is just a stage?
Sometimes it is.
But when curiosity, movement, and ease start fading from daily life, it’s often an invitation to respond now, while small shifts still make a big difference.
As Dr. Shefali Tsabary writes:
“The patterns we don’t consciously shift become the patterns our children inherit.”
The Wild Shift exists to help families gently realign their days with the living world -
not years from now,
not after things feel harder,
but right when you start noticing the distance.
Is this the right moment for our family?
There is rarely a perfect moment.
But there is often a quiet sense of readiness - the feeling that you want to live differently with your children, to build something steadier and more rooted for the years ahead.
That’s the moment The Wild Shift was created for.
The Wild Shift Promise
